Inspiration Boards

I dug into my wedding files this week and started to experiment with a concept called “Inspiration Boards”.  All photographs are by Happy Gatherings  –  all taken at recent events.   While these are organized around color, they could have been collages of gowns. jewelry, flowers or food.  Or, black and white, sepia or tinted details of almost anything.  Inspirational and fun!

Celebrations – Gourmet Catering

At a recent North Shore Bar Mitzvah, Toby Karlyn of Celebrations “wowed” the guests with her culinary creations.  Here are samples of her hors d’oeuvre assortment –  then the dessert finale, apple crisp.

Charter Oak Country Club

Beth and David chose Charter Oak Country Club in Hudson, MA for their wedding celebration last weekend.   Outside, the lush autumn foliage provided a colorful background for the ceremony and the reception.   Inside, the same vibrant colors –  burnt orange, ivory and wine.  The decor centerpiece was a tiered arrangement of golden cupcakes with pumpkin orange and chestnut brown frosting . . . . . . yummy!!!

Emily and Mark did the hard work this summer . . . . . they narrowed down their gorgeous wedding photographs to a manageable number for their album.   Finally, they chose a classic ivory leather with gold engraving – a perfect finishing touch for these elegant wedding images!   Below are just a few of our favorite pages.

The Ocean View Inn

Even though it rained “cats and dogs” last Saturday, Leigh and William and 100 friends and family stayed cozy and dry inside Gloucester’s Ocean View Inn.  At one point the downpours stopped, so we all dashed outside for a few quick pictures.

King Richard’s Faire

If you are a “people watcher”, this is the place to visit.   King Richard’s Faire in Carver, MA attracts thousands each year during September and October.  Oh, and the Jack Sparrow character . . . . . . pretty convincing!!
