Boston Harbor Hotel Wedding

 The Boston Harbor Hotel hosted Sarah and Noah’s black tie wedding last weekend and what an elegant evening it was!   Sarah and Noah – thank you for being such a delight to work with – your wedding was spectacular!

Happy 60th Joan and Dan!

Joan and Dan Meenan married on October 15, 1949.  For their 60th anniversary,  their children and spouses and 3 original wedding party members celebrated with them at The Wayside Inn, Sudbury.  Their wedding album was  there along with large black and white photos displayed on the walls.  I especially loved the original menu from the Commander Hotel, Cambridge.  What a joyful evening!

Inspiration Boards

I dug into my wedding files this week and started to experiment with a concept called “Inspiration Boards”.  All photographs are by Happy Gatherings  –  all taken at recent events.   While these are organized around color, they could have been collages of gowns. jewelry, flowers or food.  Or, black and white, sepia or tinted details of almost anything.  Inspirational and fun!

Celebrations – Gourmet Catering

At a recent North Shore Bar Mitzvah, Toby Karlyn of Celebrations “wowed” the guests with her culinary creations.  Here are samples of her hors d’oeuvre assortment –  then the dessert finale, apple crisp.

Charter Oak Country Club

Beth and David chose Charter Oak Country Club in Hudson, MA for their wedding celebration last weekend.   Outside, the lush autumn foliage provided a colorful background for the ceremony and the reception.   Inside, the same vibrant colors –  burnt orange, ivory and wine.  The decor centerpiece was a tiered arrangement of golden cupcakes with pumpkin orange and chestnut brown frosting . . . . . . yummy!!!

The Ocean View Inn

Even though it rained “cats and dogs” last Saturday, Leigh and William and 100 friends and family stayed cozy and dry inside Gloucester’s Ocean View Inn.  At one point the downpours stopped, so we all dashed outside for a few quick pictures.
